That will be interesting. I should also point out that a significant 
number of the schemas I found are DTDs, so it would also be interesting 
to see how many DTDs you can find through Google. (If I recall 
correctly, I also found a couple of Relax NG schemas.)

Not sure why people chose DTDs instead of XML Schemas, but I suspect 
it's either because they were coming from the SGML world or because they 
started work before XML Schemas were a recommendation.
