Any of you have any idea why the escape sequence fi works fine in
IE but ff not ? (Both characters are ligatures, fi and ff )

Here you got a sample xml:

<test>/fi ligature: written as fi will show ok: (fi), but
/ff ligature written as ff wont show: (ff). WHY?</test>

Thanks in advance.
