I don't really remember a problem of spammers bombing xml-dev (adverts for
drugs, porn, etc.), but something has changed so attachments have been getting
through lately.

Unfortunately, the CxProtect software:

1. Responded with a 105K HTML page w/ base64 content (so it is likely to be
quarantined/deleted)
2. Flagged a one sentence plain text message with no attachment as carrying a
virus (probably because of the text in the subject heading). Unfortunately, the
actual message with that subject was not blocked so the virus passed through.
