Altova Mailing List Archives>Archive Index >microsoft.public.xsl Archive Home >Recent entries [Thread Prev] >Thread Next - Re: Test if exists Test if existsTo: NULL Date: 11/19/2008 4:23:00 PM I have a statement:
<primary>
<xsl:value-of select="FORMS/FORM/FIELDS/*[name() =
'OTHERFILENUMBER' and ../../@MAJOR = 'True']/../../@MAJOR"/>
</primary>
This will normally set the field to be "True" or "False" which is the
attribute of @MAJOR.
But I found an instance where the field OTHERFILENUMBER doesn't exist and it
puts blank there.
How would I change this to say to put a "False" if either the result of the
select is "blank", OTHERFILENUMBER doesn't exist or ../../@MAJOR doesn't =
'False'?
Thanks,
Tom
