Good catch, Eric. Thanks. It doesn't appear to be an issue when
Javascript receives/parses the document, but when going straight to
the XML, FF3 doesn't know how to handle it. That meant it didn't make
the second request. Escaping the ampersand allowed FF to fetch the
document.
