I don't think XSL really has anything at all to do with your question.
Similarly, ASP is unrelated to your goal in a useful way.

I would approach the "realtime summing" by writing some basic
javascript to iterate each of the column's select box selected values,
and write that out into a named DIV at the end of (each) row.
