Using only XSLT 1.0 and XPath 1.0, it is not possible to have a string
interpreted as XPath expression. There are extension functions, e.g. in
EXSLT, that can do that, though. You will have to use one of those, or
explain in more detail why you need this feature, we might then be able
to come up with an alternative.
