.NET 3.0 has already been released, the processor is
System.Xsl.XslCompiledTransform as in .NET 2.0. As far as I understand
.NET 3.0 uses the .NET 2.0 runtime plus several new
namespaces/assemblies so I don't see any change in the XSLT processor

The next release will be 3.5 I think, still using XslCompiledTransform,
but offering to compile XSLT stylesheet in advance to assemblies.

Visual Studio named "Orcas" is in beta, you might want to try yourself.
