Generating an XSLT file...

Dear Experts,

I have the following 2 files:

- a well formatted flat file (text file);
- a XML schema that correponds to the above text file. This XML schema file
defines the clearly the positions and lengh of the each of the fields in the
flat file. Actually this XML schema was created using Biztalk.

Now I would like to create a program that can validate the flat file against
the XML schema. Is it possible to achieve this?

If direct validation is not possible, I am thinking to create an XSLT file
based on the above two files and then uses .NET classes to do transformation
on the flat file. In case the flat file does not comply with the XML Schema,
the transformation will be failed and the correponding errors would be given
out. But the problem is, is there any existing tool that can generate the
XSLT file automatically based on the flat file and XML schema file?

Please advise.
Thanks a lot.
