As you're selectively showing us only part of the stylesheet, have you
considered posting either the entire <xsl:when /> segment, plus some
XML content - or better, both the complete xslt file and a small but
complete segment of your XML ? 

It would save everybody having to guess where your problem lies - as I
say I'm sure it's not the above line, maybe you or the xslt processor
miscounted the line numbers ?
