Simple copy of a list in XSL

Hello,

i'd like to copy a list into a strictly identical list after XSL
processing.
For example the XML source could be:

<ul>
   <li> item 1  </li>
   <li> item 2
            <ul>
                 <li> item 2.1 </li>
                 <li> item 2.1 </li>
            </ul>
   </li>
   <li> item 3  </li>
</ul>

I'd like to get the same result as the original list, the goal is
simply to reproduce the list.
(Of course, this list is inside another node, then i need XSL)
All my tries fail, some times the list is reproduced twice...or not at
all...

Have you got an idea ?
Thanks

Yohan
