Well, it is good to know that it will work with the recommended classes when 
we migrate to 2.0.

Unfortunately, this XSL transform is for consumption by a third party who 
will be sticking with 1.1 for quite a while (since their entire systems 
architecture is built around it).  Hopefully there will be a patch?

I'll try XslCompiledTransform with my union bug as well.
