Actually I think you'll find you provided no root node - only the
nodes *contained* within where the root node should have been. Any XML
processor would have barfed on that, if you provided it with exactly
what you posted here.

Wrap your 'xml' inside another pair of tags , say like this 

<mytags>
	<xml_like_content_of_original_post />
</mytags>

And it'll probably be enough for Dimitre to work out what to do. He's
a busy guy and hasn't really got time to fix XML before providing his
expert XSL solutions. He probably just felt like skipping over any
badly formed XML provided.
