BTW, I wanted to let you know that string-compare didn't work for me.  As I 
mentioned in my original post, I'm using an in-line XML tag.  That uses 
version 3 of the MSXML DOM, and string-compare is a verion 4 function.  I 
ended up writing my own function in some JavaScript and calling it from the 
for-each select.  Using MSXML4 and the string-compare function would probably 
improve performance, but requiring users to install something other than IE 6 
is not an option for me.
