.NET also implements XPath 1.0 so with .NET too, if you want to select 
an element in a namespace, you need to bind a prefix to the namespace 
URI and use that prefix in your XPath expression.
In XPath 1.0 the path expression
   root/bar
always selects elements in no namespace.
