Altova Mailing List Archives>Archive Index >microsoft.public.xml Archive Home >Recent entries [Thread Prev] >Thread Next - Re: Google Toolbar Custom button XML file error in Internet Explorer Google Toolbar Custom button XML file error in Internet ExplorerTo: NULL Date: 2/26/2009 5:12:00 AM I am creating a website which will store the registered members favorite URL's in my website. for this activity i use the Google Toolbar's Custom button functionality. i have created an XML file to do this function as per Google Conditions listed in Google website : http://toolbar.google.com/buttons/apis/howto_guide.html this is working fine with Firefox and other browsers, but this is not working with Internet Explorer This custom button installed in users browser will redirect to my website with the Current browser's URL of that the user is viewing. but in IE i cant get the URL of the User Viewing rather than i get an error message saying, "The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@n... and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error. More information about this error may be available in the server error log. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
