I have an MDI app. Maybe it shouldn't be, but it is. I have an MDI
child form that could get data sent to it periodically by another
thread, and I would like that data to be added to the form even if
another MDI child is visible, so the user can get back to it to see
the data that has been added in the meantime. Trouble is, when another
form is selected, the current form seems to be closed (all forms are
maximised). It's not really being used as a true MDI app, I know, but
that seemed the best way of getting a clickable treeview permanently
on screen, in the app window, but allowing the user complete control
over what he looks at (in the remaining space in the MDI parent).
Anyone got any ideas - or a better way of achieving the same goal(s)?
TIA,
Peter Royle
