Fetch & Read XML Data into HTML File? To: NULL Date: 9/8/2008 8:58:00 AM Would anyone know how I can fetch and read xml data to display in a html file? I'm building a local (unpublished) webpage to be a personal homepage on my PC. When I open/refresh the html file, I would like it to fetch an xml file type <?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1" ?> from the internet and parse/read some of the data to display in the webpage using standard html/ccs. I assume a script will be needed for this but I'm not finding any online free scripts for something like this. Anyone got any ideas? Just wanting a 7-day weather forecast on my home page... If beggars can be choosers, I would prefer to not have any external applications or files to call from the html file, and the fetched xml file could download to my std temporary internet files folder to be replaced at the next refresh. Thanks, Richard in VA. +++++++++++ | ||||||
