Re: How can I convert text to float in SAX?

Hopefully someone familiar with SAXContentHandler will answer your question;
I am not familiar with SAXContentHandler. If you were more specific about
what you are using (the specific function would help) then I might look at
the documentation to see what you are talking about. If you were to provide
a link to the documentation of the function you are using that returns the
data you are asking about, then you would make it easier for others to help
and more likely that someone would help.

I assume that the data type is variant. If so, then instead of refering to
SAXContentHandler, your question can be answered by anyone familiar with
variant data and does not require knowledge of SAXContentHandler. Also,
there is so much in the MSDN about variant types that you can find many
answers there. Also search for articles and samples outside of the MSDN.
Also search for search for articles about and samples of SAXContentHandler

Also, VC provides the "_variant_t" class to help with variants. That is
something you will find when you look at the documentation.
