You can pass the username and password as the fourth and fifth parameters of
the call to open.

If it is a windows authentication dialog you are getting you can add the
site being accessed to the intranet zone.  This will cause the current user
logon credentials to used when authenticating.  The assumes the locally
logged on user has access to the resource on the server.
