Objective: Present a user friendly one or two word description (rather than
the real URL) which appears underlined and clickable in the calendar view.
Problem: This approach resulted in the short name being displayed with no
linking properties.
Approach: I tried to use something like the following to put an entry in a
MS Outlook calendar file (xml).
<Description>blah, blah, blah. See <loc
href="http://www.WebsiteAaddress.com/">short link name</loc> More
stuff</Description>
I tried this with "a" with "loc", and xlink:href (which MS Outlook did not
like at all), etc.
I figured if WC3 said it was valid xml code, and used it themselves, it was.
(see http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-xml/REC-xml-20060816.xml)
As I am new here, apologies if this is posted in the incorrect group
(couldnt find one for Outlook).
