xml localization problem

Hi,

I have a XML file (say abc.xml) which is created on EN-US locale. I
changed the locale of my computer to French-Canada and tried to load
the same abc.xml file (which was saved on EN-US). The XML file has a
node for maintaining different versions. The version number was saved
as 3.3 but while loading on Fr-Ca it gives an error "Type Mismatch" as
French locale considers 3.3 as 3,3 (comma is used as decimal in french)

I am using function VarR8FromStr(varData.bstrVal, LOCALE_USER_DEFAULT,
LOCALE_NOUSEROVERRIDE, (double*)&dTemp); which fails. I am using MSXML2
while reading and saving the xml file.

Any idea how to go about this? Please let me know if you have worked on
similar issue.

Thanks,
Rhn
