No suggestions...I tried a simple sample, and it worked for me: I used this
xml:
<?xml version="1.0"?>
<root>
<level1>
<option>transmission: automatic</option>
<option>transmission: automatic</option>
<option>Transmission: automatic</option>
</level1>
</root>
and this XSL:
<?xml version='1.0'?>
<xsl:stylesheet version="1.0"
xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform">
<xsl:template match="/">
<outroot>
<xsl:for-each select="//option[contains(translate(., 'transmion',
'TRANSMION'),'TRANSMISSION')]">
<transmission>AUTOMATIC</transmission>
</xsl:for-each>
</outroot>
</xsl:template>
</xsl:stylesheet>
and it worked, so I'm not sure why yours isn't working. It looks like it
should work.
