msxml 4.0 support on non-English Windows 2000/XP

Hi,

I'm working on an application that uses MSXML 4.0 SP2 for xsl
transformations. I just tested the app on French Windows 2000 and XP and
discovered the XSLT didn't work, evidently because I installed the english
version of MSXML 4.0 SP2, rather than the french version. Now, I'm waiting
for my I.S. department to give me access to download the french version so I
can verify that once it is installed the XSLT will work (and so on for
german, italian, japanese, and spanish). In the meantime, maybe someone can
confirm my expectations...?

But this application also needs to run on Brazilian Portuguese Windows
2000/XP systems. There is no download for MSXML 4.0 SP2 (or MSXML 3.0 for
that matter) in Brazilian Portuguese that I can find. Does this sound right,
and does this mean that the XSL transforms performed by this application will
not work on a Brazilian Portuguese Windows 2000/XP system?

Thanks.
Jon
