Becuase that is not how the XSD syntax works.

On an element node, you could either have

a) a type attribute, referencing a globally declared type - in this case in
your included file.
b) no type attribute, but a type declaration within the context of the
element, which is a nameless/anonymous type defining the content model.

It is not expected for the XML/XSD editor that you are using to expand those
element names like you want to, since it would make it invalid XSD.
