How can I.. Re: New to XML. How can I..To: NULL Date: 2/4/2006 1:42:00 PM Thank You for the explanation! Yes I am using VB6. I want to "escape it" because the sample XML-Files which I got are UTF-8 encoded and they DO contain the escapes. In the concrete case I want to supply results for Ski-Races to the FIS Database (FIS = Federation Internationale de Ski) They accept the XML-Files and will them automatically fill into their Linux-based Database. Files with not escaped Umlauts will be rejected.
