Martin,

Now that you mention it, there must be a problem with the file itself, 
becassue I cannot open it with a browser either. I get the exact same error 
message.

Could this have something to do with the fact that I retrieved it using 
WinHTTP and saved it to a file before trying to oepn it with MSXML?
