Here's my HTML....
<TR ALIGN=3D"center">
<TD><SPAN DATAFLD=3D"TITLE"
STYLE=3D"font-style:italic"></SPAN></TD>
<TD><SPAN DATAFLD=3D"LINK"></SPAN></a></TD> //HOW DO I MAKE =
THIS FIELD INTO A HYPERLINK
<TD><SPAN DATAFLD=3D"AUTHOR"></SPAN></TD>
<TD><SPAN DATAFLD=3D"BINDING"></SPAN></TD>
<TD><SPAN DATAFLD=3D"PAGES"></SPAN></TD>
<TD><SPAN DATAFLD=3D"PRICE"></SPAN></TD>
</TR>
How do I make my 'LINK' field into a hyperlink. In my XML file, the =
'Link' element is set to a web URL address, such as:
<LINK>http://www.microsoft.com</LINK>
However, in my HTML file its not a hyperlink. Another thing I am trying =
to learn is how can I make 'TITLE' into a hyperlink as well.
<snip>
Okay....here was my resolution--seems kind of strange (not sure if its =
valid):
<TR ALIGN=3D"center">
<TD><a href=3DSPAN DATAFLD=3D"LINK" =
STYLE=3D"font-style:italic"><SPAN DATAFLD=3D"TITLE"></span></a></TD>
<TD><a href=3DSPAN DATAFLD=3D"LINK" target=3D"_blank"><SPAN =
DATAFLD=3D"LINK"></SPAN></a></TD>
<TD><SPAN DATAFLD=3D"AUTHOR"></SPAN></TD>
<TD><SPAN DATAFLD=3D"BINDING"></SPAN></TD>
<TD><SPAN DATAFLD=3D"PAGES"></SPAN></TD>
<TD><SPAN DATAFLD=3D"PRICE"></SPAN></TD>
</TR>
I made the title into a hyperlink; meanwhile, I got the 'LINK' field =
turned into a hyperlink in the HTML page as well--it works. However (as =
stated earlier), I'm not sure its valid.
Best regards,
Todd
