How to emulate clicking Edit, Select All, CTRL-C in InterNet Explorer?

From VBA running in a Microsoft Access database application,
I invoke the following code to open a brief instance of Internet
Explorer...

MyURL =
"http://cgi1.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?TimeShow&hc=1&hm=td.s5ddl7437"
msXML.Open "GET", MyURL, False
msXML.send
strPageContent = msXML.responseText
Set msXML = Nothing
Debug.Print Len(strPageContent)
Debug.Print strPageContent
Exit Function

After some parsing, I end up with what I want. Now I have a different
issue. A site like http://tycho.usno.navy.mil/cgi-bin/anim does not
allow me to capture what I want from the site using the above tools.
However, inside IE, I can simply click Edit, Select All, Copy and I
capture everything I want (which is the current date/time data). I
parse it out and away I go. So, how can I execute this simple
process (simple if doing manually) from within a VBA procedure?
I wanna open the site, wait a couple of seconds, perform what
amounts to clicking Edit, Select All and Copy to get the time/date
text on that page to the Windows Clipboard as text?
