You have XSD's that do not define a target namespace so the general definition of that XSD can be "included" in other schemas. Its almost like saying, let's see if this instance complies to the .Net class (But not having a way to link the instance to its type). There is no way the parser can associate the XML instance with the XSD anymore. What you can do: Write another XSD that includes the "non targetnamespace'd" XSD's. In your own XSD you give a namespace. Now you can validate the XML instance against your XSD. Hope this helps, Marvin Smit.
