Go to http://www.dependencywalker.com/ and get Depends 2.1.  Run it, and do 
File/Open and open regsvr32.exe.  Then go to Profile/Start Profiling and 
configure your Program arguments to be /u msxml4.dll.  Turn on all the 
check mark options that look interesting to you - I would recommend at 
least turning on "Hook the process" and its 2 sub-options, and also check 
"Use full path names".  Then run it, and examine the output for the 
problem.  This usually gives enough info to point me in the right 
direction.
