Hi Dave,

I'm not sure whether you've found the "wordnet.xsd" file in the Office XML 
reference you downloaded from MSDN site. And if you installed it , you can 
also click and open it from the 
start menu----->program files-->......   ----->WordprocessML

Here is the start section of the "wordnet.xsd"

just means this schema file is the definition schema of the 

http://schemas.microsoft.com/office/word/2003/wordml     namespace.
