By the way, you'll find this stuff documented in your SQL Server book online 
as well, but the RTM version of SQL 2000 was missing a few important parts, 
and SQL XML 3.0 utilizes a newer parser, fixes many bugs, provides better 
security, and more.

The virtual directories for the SQL 2000 RTM version and the newer ones 
created by SQL XML 3.0 are not compatible, but you can upgrade the older ones 
if you want:
