"Access denied" error using Msxml2.ServerXMLHTTP.4.0

Hi NG,

last week everything worked fine with on my german WinXP-SP2 (all latest
security updates via SUS). Now I get an "Access denied" error on Send( )
with MSXML2.SeverXMLHTTP.4.0-object. I need to POST some XML data to another
server (AXIS web service) via HTTPS. I provide username and password via
Open( ). A sample HTML page using the XMLHTTP-object with javascript works
on this machine. There is no proxy involved (proxycfg returns "direct
access"). In my application (4GL-language, uses ActiveX-objects a bit like
VB6.0) I have to use ServerXMLHTTP because I need to set timeout parameters.
So what may have changed? What else can I check? I already re-installed
MSXML4-SP2. I also tried to pass base64-encoded credentials via
setRequestHeader("Authorization", "basic ..."). But I still get "access
denied".

TIA,
Stefan
