Re: parsing xml in vb6

Is there a way, using simple ADO, to open the XML file directly? No editing
is necessary ... all we need to do it open the file into an ADO recordset
object and then use that recordset to append to another recordset based on a
SQL Server table. Some of the XML files are HUGE, so I didn't think I could
use the built-in SQL Server XML support since all of the documentation seemed
to indicate I'd have to send the XML text as a parameter to a stored
procedure. I can do that for the smaller XML files, but what about the larger
ones? So it would seem that the easiest way would be to open the XML file
directly from the ado recordset object.

Thank you,
Brad
