I guess there's not. Again, with exception of the usual Interop 
problems: calling a method in non-managed components means that you are 
no longer under control of the CLR. For example, if an exception occurs 
in the component's code, it will not be propagated to your .Net code.

Yes, this is what MS is saying. I can't say why until I see the source 
code or find some explanations about this.
