We deliberately fail to load any non-well-formed XML into the Microsoft XML
components (MSXML or System.Xml) for the important reason that mission
critical data processing would then become unpredictable, resulting in
possible data loss, or even data corruption.  I would strongly encourage
your XML source to fix their XML, since it will probably be rejected from
all XML processing components across the industry, for the same reason.
