Reading XML from a URL with VBScript

Hi All,

I have a question regarding reading XML from a URL using
VBScript. I am able to read an xml file that is stored
locally with VBScript but when i try and access the same
file through a url (via a webserver)instead of a direct
local path, nothing is read. I get the error "Object
Required" on the line:

msgbox(theXML.documentElement.firstChild.text)

If i type the url in my browser it brings up the contents
of the file in the browser window.

I am new to XML so any information on the subject would be
appreciated.

Thanks,
Jesse
