As far as I know the default stylesheet IE (any current version) uses is indeed not an XSLT 1.0 stylesheet but rather one written against that http://www.w3.org/TR/WD-xsl namespace that only MSXML 3 and older support. So what exactly are you looking for, an XSLT 1.0 translation of that default stylesheet?
