XML Schema/DTD for English Words ?

From: mikelarry88@-----.---

Greetings Listers,

I'm in the process of building a english word database and looking
forward for any defined xml schema or dtd to represent a english word.
I know it would come along with the word database in xml itself :) if
at all anything like that exists.

Most importantly , I want to restrict my application to read only words
that confirm to the schema so I can avoid parsing various
representations of word lists.

Any pointers so I can move ahead ?

TIA,
