The recently updated StyleVision beginner and intermediate courses highlight new support for reporting and chart creation, an integrated scripting environment and tool bar editor, functionality for creating a StyleVision design (.SPS) based on an existing XSLT stylesheet, and much more. The updated StyleVision course covers a comprehensive collection of topics to help guide you through functionality available in the visual stylesheet and reporting design tool. The beginner and intermediate level StyleVision modules start with an introduction to the StyleVision interface and functionality as well as interactive tutorials for transforming XML and database content into HTML, RTF, PDF, Word 2007 (OOXML), and Authentic® eForms. Module 2 adds detailed tutorials to help you create an effective SPS template, design print output, use absolutely positioned layout modules, and create Authentic eForms for users who need to update XML documents without seeing the underlying XML syntax. In Module 3 more advanced topics are introduced, including step-by-step instructions on inserting auto-calculations, outputting XHTML, importing XSLT, disabling output escaping, setting DPI conversion factors, and using variables and user-defined templates and elements. The last chapter walks through StyleVision’s scripting capabilities allowing you to practice inserting macros, add custom toolbar buttons and event handlers, and add forms to designs. Our recently updated StyleVision course is complemented by the other product and technology courses available as part of the Altova Online Training program, including instruction on using XMLSpy and MapForce, our data mapping tool. There is also a comprehensive, five-module course for working with XBRL that includes an introduction to XBRL technology and concepts, as well as an overview for working with XBRL using the MissionKit tool suite.
