Topic: XMLSpy API .NET Authentic View Interact Interop
Posted: Thursday, May 7, 2015 12:01:42 PM
Using C#, I am trying to create some methods to open XML documents in Altova XMLSpy in Authentic view and click some controls on the Authentic view form to do some manipulation to the underlining XML file. I was able to find some documentation on Altova's website to add the appropriate reference to my C# project, open an instance of XMLSpy, open a file in that instance and switch to Authentic View. However, there is limited documentation on what I want to do next.

Does any one know how to do something similar to interacting with an HTML page and performing "InvokeMember" to click a link, button or other control in the Authentic View of an open XML file? I can't seem to find any methods or properties to select and interact with specific buttons by their label or any other attribute. I essentially have links in my authentic view form like "add XXXX" which by clicking on that link will add some tags and data in the underlying XML file.
