Topic: Alert dialog after XSL transformation
Posted: Wednesday, November 12, 2014 1:43:00 PM
Hi,

We've upgraded from XMLSpy 2010 to XMLSpy 2015. XMLSpy 2015 seems to behave differently from earlier version.

XMLSpy 2015 nows displays an alert dialog after each XSL transformation or DTD/Schema validation done via macro (for example through Application.ActiveDocument.TransformXSL).

I'm talking about the dialog containing the "XSL Transformation finished" or "File is valid" messages (see attached files).

We do quite a lot of XSL transformations via macros and this generates more manual steps for our users because they are now forced to click "OK" several times per macro, acknowledging each and every XSL transformation and DTD/Schema validation.

Is there a way or an option to prevent these dialogs from being displayed?

Messages in the output windows are totally fine because they don't require any user action, but alert dialog are quite obtrusive.

I would be grateful for any suggestion. Thanks.
