Hi all,

how can I use my own written DLL in Mapforce Server. It works fine with Mapforce-Client but not with FlowForce and Mapforce Server.

Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately, this does not seem to be possible. I also found this feature a little misleading because it sounds great, but then you realize there are limitations... The custom DLLs are intended for use when you generate code from MapForce into the target language.

if you are referring to a dll which you have added to Mapforce via Add / Remove Libraries, then do the following

a) ensure that the dll that you have added as a library to Mapforce is a strong named dll

b) deploy your mapping to Flowforce Server

c) register the dll into the GAC on the server using the gacutil.exe

FlowforceServer should then be able to find the dll
