Does anyone have an example of an XSLT that will convert an EDI (or EDIFACT) message to an XML-based message please?

Do you need XSLT or do you need the actual conversion. If the language doesn't matter, then take a look at Altova MapForce - there everything is very easy.

Hi Vlad. Unfortunately I need an actual XSLT rather than just the actual conversion. An example of any XSLT operating against an EDI/EDIFACT structured message would be perfect - at least it'd give me a starter for ten as to how to achieve this!

Hi,

this would require hand coding an xslt and because the source is a text file this would be no trivial task. If you can in any way avoid this I would suggest using Mapforce to map the edi to xml. This will make your life a whole lot easier.

I have to correct island - it is a "hell" of a task! Prepare for multi-week XSLT learning and coding. With MapForce you can do the same within minutes...
