SchemaAgent® 2008 (September 12, 2008) SchemaAgent 2008, Altova's unique XML Schema management tool, now supports both XSLT and WSDL files and their file relationships, bringing it one big step closer to becoming the universal tool for managing XML files and understanding their interconnections and dependencies across a project, team, or enterprise.
New features in SchemaAgent 2008 include: - Support for viewing XSLT and WSDL files and their schema relationships – allows users visualize XSLT and WSDL files and their relationships with XML Schemas and other XML-related files.

SchemaAgent™ 2007 release 3 (May 30, 2007) - Graphical display of XML instances – allows users to connect to and display XML instance documents, and their connections to XML Schemas and MapForce mapping projects, in the graphical design view.

SchemaAgent™ 2006 (October 3, 2005) - MapForce schema view – displays structure and details of XML Schemas used in Altova MapForce data mapping designs, providing a visual representation of all available schema details and relationships within an organization or a single XML-based project.
- Detailed schema visualization – provides more granular details for each XML Schema displayed in the design pane. Details include the inner structure of global elements, attributes, complex and simple types, foreign data type references, and more.
- Standalone SchemaAgent client application – for users who do not need to centralize XML Schemas in a team environment. Allows the SchemaAgent application to stand alone for managed schema access without the SchemaAgent Server installed.

SchemaAgent™ 2005 (March 9, 2005) Originally a feature within Altova XMLSpy, SchemaAgent is enhanced and introduced as a standalone product. - Central schema management – connects to a standard schema repository or to any schema collection on a file server, and makes all of the existing content models in a workgroup readily available for use in development projects.
- Graphical user interface – visualize and manage schema relationships, and construct complex schemas from smaller, simpler ones.
- Interface to other Altova products – SchemaAgent can be accessed from within the XML Schema View of Altova XMLSpy.
