ALTOVA RECOGNIZED AS SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT LEADER AND INNOVATOR FOR THE FOURTH YEAR IN A ROW

BEVERLY, Mass., June 21, 2006 – – Altova® (www.altova.com), creator of XMLSpy® and other leading XML, data management, UML, and Web services tools, today announced that it has been named to the 2006 SD Times 100 list of leaders and innovators in the software development industry. The company was honored in the Tools & Environments category for the fourth consecutive year.

In its award citation, SD Times singles out Altova’s XMLSpy, the industry-standard XML development environment for modeling, editing, debugging, and transforming XML technologies.
